Monte Pittman & Adam Lambert’s Citizen Vein Sessions / Beg For Mercy

As you all know, Monte Pittman & Adam Lambert worked together on several songs during the Citizen Vein days and now we have the chance to listen to those songs on the “Beg for Mercy” album, under Lambert’s name on the cover.

Pittman gave goosebumps to everybody during Lambert's "Glam Nation Tour" with his thrilling solos!

The songs of this album were recorded before Lambert’s participation in American Idol and except for Monte who co-wrote the lyrics and played guitar, Brian Frasier-Moore played drums and Ric’key Pageot played keys! The album is released worldwide by Colwel Platinum Entertainment via Fontana Distribution on November 21, 2011. Get it here!

Monte Pittman rocks Quebec with Adam Lambert

Monte Pittman rocked the stage with Adam Lambert last night in Quebec, where Adam performed not only his usual setlist but also had a surprise for all the Glamberts – he performed a song from his new album!

Monte had his signature Jarrell JZS-1 MPS, the sparkly Melody Maker, the Flying V, Fender Telecaster and a Martin acoustic for the gig.

Monte Pittman to start recording his new album in June!

Monte Pittman will go into the studio in June to start recording his new album “Pain, Love & Destiny”! Monte tweeted recently that his album “it’s going to “rock” alot more than it was going to” and that it will be released hopefully in August! We can’t wait!

But before that, Monte will be playing a solo gig on May 22nd at the Viper Room and will join Adam Lambert for his gig in Moscow on May 28th! Stay tuned to @axestatic for more updates!

Monte Pittman & Adam Lambert on IDOL Aftermath

Adam Lambert, Monte Pittman and the rest of the band performed last night on American Idol an acoustic version of “Aftermath”. This version is different to the one that they played during the Glam Nation Tour, but is equally great! Check out Monte strumming his Martin and Adam showing off his vocals!

Monte Pittman and Adam Lambert on the Ellen Show

Adam Lambert was one of the guests today on the Ellen De Generes show and he performed his Grammy Award Nominated song “Whataya Want from Me?”. Monte Pittman brought his Martin and played an acoustic version of the song, in fingerstyle and strumming. Check it out!

Photographer catcherofdreamz brings the Glam into Axestatic!

ASP covered a lot of Adam Lambert‘s “Glam Nation Tour” last year (it was all MP’s “fault”) and thanks to some fantastic fans we got some really great footage as we watched Monte Pittman showing off his guitar skills.

But when it comes to photographs, there’s one person that certainly deserves her own moment in the ASP spotlight. Kara Thomas aka @catcherofdreamz caught (!) some very special moments, of not only Adam Lambert, but also of Monte Pittman, Tommy Joe Ratliff, Longineu Parsons, Isaac Carpenter, Camila Grey and the dancers during the show!
