Merry Christmas Everyone!

Happy 3rd Birthday Axe-Static_Process!!!

18 12 2011

Axe-Static_Process has its 3rd birthday today! With all the latest internet/social network madness going on, it’s a small miracle that we are still here and still rocking! We have many things to be excited about in 2012, the most important of all – Madonna returning to her throne and releasing a new studio album and of course, going on tour!

Happy 3rd Birthday ASP!

But let’s take a moment and rewind back at some special moments of 2011! ASP Guitar Hero/Rock God Monte Pittman released his 2nd solo album “Pain, Love & Destiny” which made us love him even more! This album rocks so much that not only you have to get it, but also share it will all your friends. It is THAT good!

The badass drummer Brian Frasier-Moore toured with another diva, Janet Jackson, while the multi-tasking and incredibly talented Nicki Richards found the time to get in the studio for her solo thang.

Happy 2nd Birthday Axe-Static_Process!

18 12 2010

There are two major events happening today! The first is: Monte Pittman performing at Molly Malones! The second is: Axe-Static_Process’ 2nd birthday! Since we’re in the last few weeks of 2010, let’s see what happened this year on the ASP interwebs…!

ASP mostly covered Adam Lambert‘s promo tour & Glam Nation Tour –and thanks to some fantastic people who shared their videos with us and the rest of the world, ASP picked up a few new fans along the way! Monte Pittman positively shined as the guitarist&music director for GNT and Miss Fitz finally met the Montster in Portland last summer!

The ASP Girls also launched the Montster of Rock website – a site dedicated to Monte Pittman: Guitar God!

Happy 2nd Birthday ASP!

But that’s not all! While Madonna was busy filming her movie “W.E.”, ASP covered her madge-icians: Marcus Brown & Steve Sidelnyk resumed their European tour with Seal, Ric’key Pageot worked on Dessy Di Lauro’s new album and toured with Diana Ross, Nicki Richards performed with Whitney Houston, the sax legend Chris Botti and is also in the process of making a new album and DJ Enferno traversed the USA & Canada, spinning and scratching his remixes!

Axestatic GlamNation Giveaway!

30 07 2010

Calling the Axestatic colonies to order (that includes you, Glamberts, Angels, Glitterbabies, and the rest of ya!)!!!  ASP is thrilled to announce that we’ve scored some swag to give away to a few lucky fans of Monte Pittman & Tommy Joe Ratliff!

When ASP met up with the Glam Nation Tour last week in Portland, I (Miss Fitz!) had the chance to hang out with ASP’s main Object-of-Rock-Affection, Monte Pittman. I also got a meet & greet with… wait for it…  Monte’s White Gibson Hummingbird!

the Holy (acoustic) Grail!

And the Hummingbird got a meet and greet with… wait for it… my double chin (sad trombone)! What a lucky guitar! Special thanks to Vince for hanging out and for taking the picture… and for taking care of Monte’s harem of Gibsons!

So– in addition to being a rock god, a gentleman, AND a scholar—Monte is incredibly generous. He not only spent a ton of time with ASP, showing off his guitar rig– he also took the time and effort to get us some autographed 8×10 color photos courtesy of Orange Amps—and he also gave us some guitar picks from his stash, as well as giving us some of Tommy Joe’s picks.

Adam Lambert announced via his twitter account last week that he is getting ready for his first solo tour, “The Glam Nation Tour” (such a shame that it couldn’t be named Glambition!). The first dates & venues were posted yesterday at his Official Site!

Adam & the glam band are expected to tour US, Canada and probably Europe! Stay tuned for more updates!
